Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first in his family to be born. He finished his primary and secondary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated with a BSc.
AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary Doctor of Science from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.
Chris Oyakhilome Ministries
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey in ministry while at AAU. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was then known as Youths For Christ.
YFC grew, and it became the biggest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the headquarters of the church. Chris Oyakhilome Believer’s LoveWorld is a global ministry which has thousands of associates worldwide.
Through the atmosphere for miracles series, BLW became Africa's most well-known Christian ministry through television. The program was canceled in May 2004 when the president Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria declared that churches should stop airing miracles.
Pastor Chris's Ministry includes four arms: publishing ministry for healing and teaching on television, as well as television ministry for TV. These ministries are what was used to develop the healing school, the setting for miracles and the global prayer network of Pastor Chris.

The InnerCity Mission for children is an evangelical, faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005 the NGO was created to help the poor and homeless, orphaned and children who are vulnerable .
The foundation aids these children and communities through sustainable and inclusive interventions, which include child development programmes and childcare programs, family strengthening programmes, InnerCity Mission for Children School and more.
